[Next steps] Post Modern has open floor plans to emphasise:
prawling space with minimal use of walls to enclose sections of the house. The feature of striking materials such as glass, steel and concrete over the more common brick and wood. Natural lighting is encouraged through large (floor to ceiling) windows. The combination creates an almost industrial look that has minimalist undertones. The outdoor space is both connected and integrated to indoor spaces. With the indoor spaces opening up entirely making the outdoor entertaining areas part of the home—or vice versa. The overall look and feel is one of spaciousness that invites nature into the home.
