Overview
The Ballroom, on Level 1 of YBF, is a historic space – the actual auction hall of the former wool warehouse that called 520 Bourke Street home from the 1860s. The Ballroom boasts vaulted ceilings, crown mouldings and a set of eight chandeliers. The Ballroom is nestled within the modernised confines of Melbourne’s top hub for tech and innovation and comes with all the bells and whistles: large presentation screens, a commercial sound system, mood lighting and flexible seating to sit 85 people in a variety of configurations, or 120 for a standing cocktail event. The Ballroom is regularly used for breakfast events, private events, pitch nights, workshops, panel talks, seminars, live podcasts, training sessions, cocktail parties, launches, masterclasses, fireside chats and meetups.
