About This Space
Named for the long-lost cousin who always leads you astray and as colourful as the backstreets of old Mexico City, El Primo Sanchez is a Mexican cocktail bar located in the heart of Paddington.
Complete with a pint-sized karaoke room, our Mexican bar squares the focus on tequila, mezcal and creative cocktails curated by Eduardo Conde (World Class Winner 2023).
Head chef Diego’s menu offers a twist on Mexican street food, including 12-hour achiote-marinated pork belly tacos, guacamole with fermented green tomatoes, and chorizo con papas served like patatas bravas.
Splashed in a colour palette inspired by Mexico city in the 40s, there are intimate tables for two, larger lounges for groups of 10, a DJ booth and a dance floor beneath a canopy of disco balls.
