Spacenow is a marketplace for the best pop up spaces in Australia. Brands, agencies and artists use it to find a shopfront for a pop up, a warehouse for a sample sale, or a gallery, showroom or event space for a launch or activation, for days or weeks rather than years.
Around the marketplace sit three services: a concierge team that sources spaces and advises on the brief, Spacenow Studio, which designs and builds the fit-out, and Spacenow IRL, which connects brands with shoppers who want to find the best pop ups. That was space then. This is Spacenow.

Our story
Spacenow was founded by Daniel Gunning and Baydr Strik and has traded as Spacenow since 2016, starting as a marketplace for all kinds of short-term space. During the pandemic the business moved towards pop ups, and brands have been its focus since: fashion, beauty, music and creative brands, and the agencies and producers who run their launches.
The work includes Harry Styles’ album launch at Verona 1 in Paddington, Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism stores in Sydney and Melbourne, the Metallica fan takeover on Oxford Street, Central Cee x Syna World and NAGNATA’s build for Australian Fashion Week. Spacenow has been covered by Mediaweek and CMO Australia, and was shortlisted in the SmartCompany Resilience Awards 2020.
